MY BELUGA

Custom built in 2006 by world renowned Moonen Yachts, and refitted in 2011,. Based in Port Douglas year round, she is set up for the ultimate Great Barrier reef & Whitsunday Islands explorations.

BELUGA’s interior layout sleeps up to 10 guests in five staterooms, including a master suite, 2 double cabins, 2 twin cabins and 2 pull man beds. She carries up to 7 crew on-board to ensure a relaxed luxury superyacht experience. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout her living areas to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.

• MAIN DECK Forward on the main deck is the master suite with private office. The suite spreads full beam to ensure privacy. There is plentiful wardrobe space and a large bathroom with bathtub, double shower and underfloor heating.
• LOWER DECK 2 x Double cabins. Consisting of a double bed (A mid-bed divider can separate into two singles), private ensuite and plentiful storage space. 2 x Twin cabins. Consisting of twin single beds and a pullman, private ensuite and plentiful storage space.
• Pullmans can sleep adults.
• Maximum 10 guests sleeping on board.
• Molton Brown products on board.

AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT / DECK FACILITIES

• Foxtel satellite TV service (main areas and Master Cabin). TV and DVD players in Lower Deck Cabins.
• Flatscreen TVs throughout SONOS Entertainment system with movie selection and music: Main Salon, Bridge Deck and Sundeck.

• 1 x Chaseboat included in full weekly charter, with her dedicated crew (Captain and Deckhand). Fuel comes out of the APA.
• Delivered in October 2017, the brand new chaseboat is a 40ft ASSEGAI, custom built express-style sports cruiser. MINKE is exclusively dedicated to BELUGA. She boasts a Seakeeper stabilization gyro which limits sea sickness and wave motion!
• She also employs the Twindisc express joystick system which smoothly and simultaneously actuates and controls engines, transmissions, propellers and thrusters, which can hold the vessel in any position, crab the boat diagonally or straight sideways and rotate it 360° on its axis.
• Divers’ platform with built in stern thruster, removable diver’s ladder with teak treads and duckboard with laid teak on top of platform. The new MINKE accommodates 1 skipper and 1 Dive Master/Deckhand.
• MINKE can be towed behind BELUGA.
• Dive instructor required for diving charters: approx. $350 AUD per day. Accommodated in a guest cabin OR on the chaseboat.
• BELUGA operates with her own 40ft Assegai-built chaseboat fully equipped for all types of Fishing, scuba, snorkeling which is included in the standard charter fee (MV MINKE)
• 2 x Tenders 4.3m Swift Mirage RIB 60hp
• 2 x brand new F5 Seabobs (4 power levels)
• Scuba equipment including 14 x shorties wetsuits (adults and children), 14 x masks and snorkels, 12 x pairs of Stinger suits with boots and hoods (full cover)
• DIVING – The Owner’s wife is a very avid diver (up to 4 dives a day) – Diving gear including dive compressor with unlimited tank fills (additional equipment can be hired) 12 x BCDs (buoyancy control device) 16 x Bottles 10 x Octopus Rigs * Diving Certifications can be delivered during the charter, at no additional cost. 10yo minimum age.

GUESTS AREAS AND SEATING

• MAIN DECK: Spacious aft deck for dining/ cocktails; main salon leads off the aft deck; powder room on the main deck foyer; Forward on the main deck is the master’s suite with private office. The suite spreads full beam to ensure privacy. There is plentiful wardrobe space and a large bathroom with bathtub, double shower and underfloor heating.8 guests formal dining.
• LOWER DECK: Four guest staterooms, 2 double and 2 twins each with pullman. All cabins have plentiful storage space and bathrooms with underfloor heating.
• BRIDGE DECK: The sky lounge connects through a sliding glass door to the glass-enclosed upperdeck with overhead heaters. The wheelhouse includes a settee for viewing the great outdoors.
• Seating aft: 10 guests maximum. Sunloungers – 1 double lounge on the bridge aft deck (moveable).
• SUNDECK: Jacuzzi, wet bar, exercise equipment, dining table, sun lounging pads Double bed on Starboard and Port side (fixed, part of the superstructure) Seating: 8 guests very comfortably.
• MONKEY ISLAND or “grand crow’s nest”: Ideal place for whale watching, reef spotting, or enjoying a champagne sunset. Swimming Platform is accessed via the main deck (starboard side of the dining table), through to the garage then down. Guests can also have access to the water via a side ladder, with flexible height, small standing platform for two.
