Whitehaven Beach
This destination is often named the world’s best beach. Once you put your feet on the delicate silica sand that stays cool even under the hottest sun and survey the seven kilometres of perfect with crystal clear water on one side and forest on the other, it’s hard to argue.
Heart Reef
One of the most iconic visual locations in the entire shimmering expanse of the Great Bar-rier Reef. Seeing it via seaplane or helicopter gives you the opportunity to take any number of photos, or you can have us arrange a visit to the floating pontoon nearby for you.
Hamilton Island
Want to experience one of the highest awarded luxury tourist escapes in the country? Look no further. Qualia and Luxury Lodge of Australia both offer some of the best you can find anywhere. And the benefit to being on a Whitsunday luxury yacht is that you don’t have to be based here – you can visit the award-winning day spas and restaurants or choose to stay a night in a luxury suite before hopping back on your fully crewed superyacht and sailing on to your next destination.
Hill Inlet
You know those perfect panorama photographs? The kind that are found framed on the walls of homes or in pride of place in a boardroom or high-end restaurant? They typically have one thing in common: the audible ‘wow’ that people let out when they see them.
Photographs of Hill Inlet taken from Hill Inlet Lookout get that reaction. And the sweeping expanse of pristine white sand beach, narrow, greenery-topped hills all surrounded by tur-quoise water as far as the eye can see can only be captured to its full extent by the widest possible camera angle.
Nara Inlet
Some of the most memorable, most special places we visit are that way because they aren’t there forever. That rarity can elevate something to being truly unique and is some-thing that many of us crave. Nara Inlet is a wild, secluded part of the Whitsunday Islands that fits the bill.
Scenic Walks and Hikes
Picture lying back on your beach towel on the deck of a luxury superyacht as the Whitsun-day Coast and islands drift by. You’ve got a cold drink in your hand. The weather is balmy, and there’s a breeze blowing across the azure water.
Sounds just about perfect.
And any holiday should have plenty of time for exactly that. But it’s probably not the only thing you want to do if you are visiting one of the world’s most pristine ecological destina-tions. And you’ll almost certainly want to take up the opportunity to explore the largest marine national park, with its abundance of undersea and rainforest wonders.
Great Barrier Reef
No amount of words could ever do the Great Barrier Reef justice. Even photos and videos can’t fully capture the incredible depth of colour, marine life and scale that you see when you lay eyes on it for yourself.
But if you’re reading this, then we’re hoping what we’re about to tell you gives you plenty more reasons to get in touch with us to begin planning your luxury superyacht trip through the Whitsundays Islands and Great Barrier Reef.
Endless Varieties Day Trips
A visit to the Whitsunday Islands and surrounds doesn’t have to be all about sitting on the deck of a luxury superyacht, drink in hand (unless you want it to be, of course!) There are also countless ways to fill your days and evenings to balance out the rest and relaxation with exercise, exploration and exhilaration.
You might choose to hire a jet ski with your group for a day or half-day and zoom around the warm, still waters around any number of the 70-plus islands. A huge number of trails and walks across beaches, bush tracks, and peaks are also on offer for every fitness and challenge level, including several that rise above this entire pristine archipelago, offering views that can’t be matched anywhere else.

And, of course, there are all-day visits that can be made to countless world-class diving and snorkeling spots. Our team at Whitsunday Islands Luxe Charters can help guide you to select options that are best suited to the experience level and preference of your group.
